NorthStar is a contemporary, purpose-driven church.  Our worship will be a blend of modern praise choruses and contemporary Christian music.   Drama, video, and other creative forms of expression will enhance your worship experience. 

 

 

 Do you have childcare?

 

Childcare is only the beginning!  We are committed to having a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for all children who come to NorthStar.  All of our leadership team and volunteer workers must go through a screening process before serving in any area dealing with children.  

 

On Sunday mornings, our children grades 1-4 participate in a special children's worship program designed especially for them.  Music, drama, large group time, and small group discussions will help make biblical principles relevant to today's children. Preteens, Grades 5 and 6, participate in our GRAPPLE community. GRAPPLE gives them an opportunity to connect with friends, the church, and God. On Sundays, they can dig into the Bible to relate faith to real-life issues and find answers to tough questions. During the week, they will also be able to join our safe and secure online community.

 

A nursery is provided for babies.  For children one to five years of age, age-appropriate classes and activities are led by trained preschool workers.

 

Our mission is to demonstrate God's love to children through active learning processes so that children will gradually come to the point of accepting Christ as their savior through the leadership of their parents and other caring adults.  Just as children grow physically, they also have different spiritual developmental stages, and our leadership team is committed to providing various opportunities for children to experience the love of Christ as they move towards adolescence.

 

 What should I wear?

 

Our church has a casual and informal style so you can "come as you are." 

 

 What time do you meet?

 

NorthStar officially launched as a church on April 16th, 2006.  Our current service times are at 9:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M. on Sundays.  We also meet on Wednesday evening at 6:30  for worship and Bible study. 

 

 

 How do I join NorthStar?

 

NorthStar has a membership class called Discovering NorthStar 101 that any interested person may attend.
