born in Amory, Mississippi and moved to college in  1979.
 
people:
married the love of my life, Marla Kay Bell in 1982. three great kids, Amy, Andrew, Aaron. one cat named Midnight. Dad, 88 years old. many close friends. the memory of a dog named Boudreaux. a dog named Cooper.

watch:
anything with action, anything funny. anything that is decent. Mash, Andy Griffith, African Queen, movies about presidents, movies about war.
 
do:
edit video, take pictures, work in yard, work at church building, watch my kids do whatever they do, (drama, football, sing, etc etc etc) help my kids get ready to do whatever they do, spend time with my wife and kids. grilling hamburgers etc. rearranging furniture. going on mission trips, speaking and getting ready to speak. hiking the Himalayas, hanging out in the Philippines.
 
misc:
love lemons, love coconut cake, love coconut pie.eat most things. try to eat anything even if it moves, like to try weird stuff.

beginnings:
born in Amory, MS on April 4th, 1977. Lived in Okolona for my first 7 years - finished growing up in Verona.
 
people:
married my high school sweetheart, Alana Tucker, in 1997.  Welcomed our first child, Lyra Kathryn, on April 22nd.
 
learning:
BBA in Business Information Systems from Mississippi State University.
 
reads:
i suppose I’m illiterate… I don’t read books or music… however, I look forward to the Sunday sales papers for all of the electronics shops in town.
 
listen:
my wife says that I don’t… just kidding!  Normally, I’m listening to whatever is on WAJS (91.7).  my music selection varies greatly: Hillsong United, Dave Matthews Band, Lincoln Brewster, Third Day, Big Daddy Weave, Jeremy Riddle, Tom Petty, Delirious, Paul Baloche and Desperation Band.
 
watch:
CSI is always on, so I usually end up watching that.  Otherwise, it’s whatever is on HGTV or TLC.  my favorite movie is Tombstone and my favorite TV shows are 24, Smallville, Heroes, and LOST.  Netflix is my friend.
 
do: 
spend time with my wife and daughter, watch movies, and eat (yes, I know, it shows).  my wife and I are currently renovating our house in our spare time.
 
misc:
member of Three Days Journey; which also serves as NorthStar’s praise band.  we spend a lot of time playing various places in our area.


 
Michael Bowers,  (helps people grow)  
 
beginnings:
born in New Orleans and lived in the metro area until college.
 
people:
married Jenny Crigler in May 1993.  have two energetic children: Natalie Grace (March 2003) and Caleb Carpenter (November 2005).  also have three cats: Tabasco, Amelia, and Tinkerbelle.
 
learning:
Mississippi State University (B.A. in Psychology); New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div. in Christian Education).
 
reads:
Dr. Seuss (favorites are Green Eggs and Ham, I Am Not Going to Get Up Today), anything with Curious George in it, and The Daily Journal.
 
listen:
all different kinds of music (jazz, 80's pop rock, some country); favorite Christian artists are Keith Green, Freshman 15, Third Day, and Casting Crowns; Addison Road is currently in my cd player.  I also regularly listen to podcasts of Ed Young, Jr., Andy Stanley, Perry Noble, and Oak Leaf Church in Cartersville, GA.
 
watch:
lots of kid's shows, cartoons, and movies.  when I actually get to choose, I watch Monk, Psych, Bones, ESPN Sportscenter, the Weather Channel (I love hurricane season and hearing them talk about Snoqualmie Pass), and any football, baseball, or college basketball game I can find on.
 
do:
spend time playing with my kids, being with my wife, enjoy working in the yard/garden, grilling, geocaching (ask me about it), eating my wife's cooking, working on NorthStar stuff, and watching college sports.
 
misc:
favorite places to be: 3rd base side at Dudy Noble and in front of twenty or more pounds of boiled crawfish.  call me if you need me at either place.
 

 
Jeff Flinn, (belly button in the body of Christ. reminds people of their connection to God and each other)   
      
beginnings:
born in Centerville, TN and raised in Huntsville, AL.
 
people:
married "the babe" in the picture below (Marsha Flinn) in September of a year to be left to your imagination. two great kids: Matt and Nate. two not so great dogs (most of the time) Sugar and Lacie.
 
learning:
graduated kindergarten at Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL.

everything i needed to know i learned in kindergarten by robert fulghum; everybodys normal 'til you get to know them by john ortberg. the word!

Born in Cookville, TN and raised in Murfreesboro, TN. A PK (preacher's kid) and the only girl in a family of five boys.
 
people:
Married to Jeff Flinn and have two sons: Matt and Nate. Our dogs, Sugar and Lacie, are my shadows.

BS in Human Relations, Samford University; Master in Social Work, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; Licensed Certified Social Worker, Alabama.

do:
Love going fishing with my guys as long as I've got a chair, a good book, and a shade tree. I'll even fish if one of them will bait my hook. Enjoy camping with my family and coming up with fun recipes to cook over the fire. Enjoy collecting demitasse cups, watching birds from my kitchen window, taking nature pictures, baking homemade dog biscuits, and having coffee with friends.
 
misc:
I love the sound of crickets on a still night and raindrops in the woods, fresh fallen snow, and a wood-burning fire in the winter.

born in Laurel, Mississippi on October 9, 1984
 
people:
married to my beautiful wife April.  We have a 6 month old little girl named Layla.  She is absolutely amazing.  We also have a 2 year old yellow lab named Rookie and a 4 year old chocolate lab named Kodi.
 
learning:
I spent 3 years at Blue Mountain College. I am now a senior at Ole Miss. an exercise science major.  I plan to attend seminary if I ever finish my bachelors!

My parents, brother and sister are all...pretty great including my Korean brother in-law...oh and I have a roomate that pays half of the rent and bills
 
learning:
I am at the beginning of my Fourth year in college. I began at Itawamba Community College for two years and I am currently at Blue Mountain College pursuing a B.S. Degree in Physical Education with a supporting area in Biblical Studies.
 
reads:
At the moment, the book I just can not put down is Grasping God's Word by Scott Duvall.

beginnings:
I was born in Naples, FL on January 13th 1978. I moved to MS that same year and was raised in Pontotoc and New Albany.
 
people:
I married my beautiful wife Beth in December of 1999.  We have two gorgeous daughters Alex 7 and Gracie 3.  We also have a cocker spaniel named Max.
 
learning:
I graduated from the greatest school in North MS, Ingomar High School in 1996. I am currently enrolled at ICC where my major is history (yes I am a nerd).
 
reads:
Just about anything I can get my hands on. I love anything from classic literature to comic books. My favorites are anything by Charles Dickens, Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and anything with Batman in it.
I am currently reading Vintage Jesus by Mark Driscoll.
 
listens:
My music is diverse as my reading. I listen to anything from the 50's to metal. Currently I am listening to Red, Lifehouse, and Pearl Jam.
 
watch:
I don't watch much TV and when I do it is usually sports of some kind. I really love football.  GO STATE!!!!!!!  I do watch Seinfeld (still the best sitcom ever), The Biggest Loser (no it is not about Troy), and I try to catch Ed Young and TD Jakes whenever they are on.
 
do:
I love to do Drama, work with the creative team, play with my kids, and just go driving for no particular reason with no set destination in mind and just enjoy the scenery.
 
misc:
I went on one of the mission trips to the Philippines and tried balut, and loved it.
