The NorthStar Internship Program is designed to help interns discover more about who Jesus is, who they are in Jesus, and discover more of what God’s calling is on their life through working in the ministry of NorthStar Church. You can fill out the application here.

Internship Schedule

Begins May 28, 2012 and ends August 12, 2012.

Deadline to apply for the summer 2012 semester is March 12, 2012.

Selected applicants will be interviewed and notified by April 9, 2012.

FALL 2012 (UNPAID SEMESTER)

Begins August 27, 2012 and ends May 5, 2013.

Deadline to apply for Fall 2012 semester is May 21, 2012

Selected applicants will be interviewed the week of May 28-31 and/or June 4-7, 2012

Interns will be selected and notified by June 28, 2012

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF NORTHSTAR CHURCH’S INTERN PROGRAM?

To help interns discover more about who Jesus is, who they are, and discover more of what God’s calling is on their life through working in the ministry of NewSpring Church.

WHEN IS THE APPLICATION DEADLINE?

Summer 2012 — March 12, 2012

Fall 2012 – May 21, 2012

HOW DO I APPLY?

Fill out this application. Be mindful of all deadlines. We cannot accept applications after deadlines have passed.

WILL I HEAR FROM SOMEONE IMMEDIATELY?

You will receive a confirmation email upon submitting your application. We will only call applicants we choose to interview.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?

Applicants must be at least 18 years or older.

ARE THERE EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY?

Yes. You must have completed high school or have your GED.

ARE INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS ELIGIBLE?

Yes. Other documentation will be needed should you choose to apply.

DO YOU PROVIDE HOUSING?

No. All interns are responsible for securing their own housing.

IS THE INTERNSHIP PAID?

All internships are unpaid.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL WEEKLY SCHEDULE?

It varies per area of ministry, but you can expect a Sunday–Thursday work week with Friday and Saturday off (barring any special events that may take place on those days). That means you will work 4 days during the week (and some evenings when needed). Sundays will involve you being present at services.

WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE INTERNSHIP?

Fall Internships run from August to May of the following year (9 months). Summer internships run from May to August (12-15 weeks).

DO I GET TIME OFF?

Yes, you will get 2 full days off during the week (most likely Friday and Saturday). There are also certain holidays during each semester that the offices are closed. Please inquire about those for the semester for which you apply.
