 Everyone deals with doors in some way or another. We are confronted with doors on almost every level of life. There are all kinds of doors we encounter. There are doors that we choose to open and close. A door is a way to enter or access, allowing us to move from one place to another. In this series Terry will talk about how we consciously choose which doors to go through. These doors have some serious implications on how we live our lives. As we approach these doors in life, we find that if we discover the right doors to go through, it will positively affect our relationships, attitude, finances, as well as our overall outlook in life.
God created marriage. He designed marriage to be a lifelong covenant, a forever love affair. The challenge is to keep that covenant from being threatened by another kind of affair. In this explosive series, Terry will teach us how to protect our marriages and families from adultery--how to keep the unthinkable from tearing apart the marital love affair.
 What are You searching for in life? Everyone seems to be searching for something. On our journey, we find ourselves trying to find the real meaning of life and what on earth we are here for. In this series, Terry will talk about some of the things we search for in life and how to find what we are looking for. What are you searching for? Maybe you are searching for true happiness. Some are searching for their purpose in life while others are in search for true love. God tells us in the Bible how to find what we are searching for. Some people never find what they are searching for while all the time the answer is right before them. As you search for the answers in life, realize that God has the real answer to what you are looking for.
 God is the epitome of balance. We see in Him: the balance of nature, power, love, judgment, hope and wisdom, just to name a few. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are in perfect balance. God created the universe in perfect balance. The stars hang in space with planets and work together in perfect balance. There is a balance in a world that so often seems imbalanced or unbalanced. There needs to be a sense of balance in our lives. Whether it is in your personal life, on the job, or in your spiritual life, everyone needs to find balance. Often we must strike a balance or keep our balance, and at other times we get off balance or get thrown off balance. In this series, Terry will talk about some of these issues affecting us in real life concerning balance. He will reveal how there was a time eternity hung in the balance, how we are weighed in the balance and how our lives should be in balance.
Sweeeet: an intensive used to express satisfaction, acceptance, pleasure, excellence, exaltation, approval, awe, or reverence. Are these characteristics that describe your life? In this series, T. will talk about five Old Testament characters whose lives exemplify the kind of lives we should live as believers.
 What do you need to change about your life? Everyone has things about themselves that they would like to change. When some people think of change they cringe, withdraw, and even run away. Others love change and get a euphoric high from the whole change deal. Still others focus more on how others need to change rather than the reality of what needs to change in their lives. Sometimes we think change is easy, but when it comes to change we have to have more than just a little determination and discipline. In this series, Terry will teach us that change—real change—comes only from God. It is when we learn to seek change from the one who can actually bring change that we can begin experiencing the needed changes in our lives. This series begins Christmas weekend. What happened on that first Christmas changed the course of history forever and now NorthStar is a place where change happens every weekend

Why we do the things we do. In our fast paced life, we seldom slow down long enough to ask ourselves why we do what we do. At NorthStar Church, beginning November 4, we will take the time to do just that. Terry will give us an insider's look at why he does what he does. And over the next several weeks, we'll discover that the amazing life God has in store for us is often just one question away.
What are you doing with your time? It often seems we never have enough time to do all the things we want to do or even need to do. What are you doing with your 24? In this series Terry will talk about what the Bible says about how we are to spend our time. Trying to balance God, church, family, kids, hobby, job and etc can really be a challenge.

In this series, Terry will talk about what it means to bear fruit and to develope the characteristics of Christ in your life on a daily basis. Each week he will talk about a specific fruit and how it relates to our walk with Christ.

As we travel this journey in life we find that it is not always an easy trip. We are constantly facing temptations, trials, choices, and the endurance factor. In this series, Terry will talk about how we can overcome temptations, face the trials with courage, make the right choices and endure to the end of the race.

Everyone needs a constant in their lives even though we live in a world of change. Styles, weather, schools and even churches change. Terry will talk about how there is one constant we know exists especially for us.

We will take a look into the life of Hannah and see how mothers are multifaceted, multidimensional and multitalented. Terry will talk about the different demands and struggles mothers face today. Marla will talk about how she balances her relationship with God, her husband, and her children

Almost everyday, people wake up with the hope that today will be the day they get rich, hit it big, meet the right one, find the strength, make the deal, feel good, etc etc and the list goes on. When is the last time you really had a good time? Our culture seems to have the patent on phrases like: "We're gona let the good times roll." As Christ followers, we have more reasons to celebrate than anyone else on the planet. In this series, Terry will unpack what it means to really Let the Good Times Roll in various areas of life. Some would like us to think that if we have money, relationships, ambitions, direction, and hope that we must have gotten it the wrong way or that we are going to somehow mess things up. Often, society tries to impose on us how to live our lives and what path we are to take. Those voices tell us that if we do it any other way we are just rocking the boat and headed for destruction. The Bible teaches us, as followers of Christ, we can celebrate and have victory. God intends for us to Let The Good Times Roll but to do it in such a way that He is honored.

In this series Terry will lead us to take a serious look at God's design for the family concerning parenting. This series will take some pretty in your grill looks at some pretty radical aspects of parenting.
